14. Oh, yeah, Tuck's a genius. He calls it a conspiracy.
Yet he announces it to the public via a major news network. Most people wouldn't even hear a peep about it except for Tuck's coverage. Thanks, Tuck! :applause:

And he has no friends, so he's clueless about friends drinking when they hunt.

16. Some don't.
I've been on ranches where the strict rule of the owner or the alpha male who set up the thing was no drinking by anyone before or during hunting hours.

However, Mr. Carlson and his bow tie probably don't realize that their Boy Scout "You shoot it you eat it" rules don't fly amongst the "It flies, it dies" crowd. The best he can probably get away with in the company of Darth Vader et al. is to put up a "NO PEPPER GAMES" sign up next to the rock he quivers underneath.

Damn I feel like an authentic Texan tonight, when I, carpetbagger, can now say that I'm a better hunter than either Bush (can't tell Killdeers from doves) or Cheney (he shoots, he scores).

9. If he means you're doornail stupid for doing it, he's right.
Most hunters I know are older, and none of them would drink or let anyone in their party drink. But accidental shooting statistics prove that some do.

Whittington's a fool if he went hunting with a drunk Dick Cheney.

12. How about the bush-bot, Brad Blakeman covering for Crashcart...
He's saying there is no way that one beer, five hours previous could have any effect.

Well, maybe not, but that's only the big dick's version of events. Why should we believe cheney now, when we already know he lies about everything?

This turd Blakeman is a real piece of work. He's a former advisor to the chimp.

Here in Wisconsin it's part of the ritual. The smart hunters wait until they're done for the day, but there are many, many who drink while they hunt.

49. I think the fact...
Edited on Thu Feb-16-06 12:28 AM by MikeStl
that they were penned birds deserves repeating. Oh and I am one of those city dwellers. But no, I don't have people slaughter animals for me, and I wouldn't go near a KFC. I don't eat meat, period. I don't think people getting some kind of sick jollies out of murdering things really compares to someone eating the food they were raised to enjoy. Two separate issues.

Oh let me just add that I do realize that some people were raised to enjoy murdering things, so I try to live and let live.

50. another vegan huh?
Good, more meat for me. The wild (as opposed to penned raised) game is a little less tasty sometimes, depending on what they're feeding on and time of year.
And yes, I do ENJOY a good hunt. Absolutely enjoy the outdoors, the tracking, shooting and taking care of
a well earned kill. I'm a pretty good archer too. I enjoy knowing that if things go to hell in the cities, I'll be able to feed the family without relying on Safe-way. It's actually a pretty satisfying thing, to be fairly self reliant.

Freezers full of pheasant, duck and some venison. ENJOY the hell out of a good venison steak.

I live and let live too...people.

Sleep tight.

Shooting tame birds. Speaking of live and let live, how IS Harrington doing?

At least when I buy my fried poultry, no bogus bumpkin comes and cheers my "hunting" ability. I'd be embarassed for the both of us if someone did.
