2. He needs surgery......
He has a condition in his legs where his Femers (upper-leg bones) in both legs are twisting inward fairly severely.....having trouble walking. He's nine......it's pretty upsetting, but they are hoping they can correct it. He's just in a lot of pain right now...and I cant get the surgery until the end of Summer because it's not life-threatening and they are very backed up with more urgent patients. I understand...but it doesnt make it any easier. Thanks for asking.

4. Let me send my love, hope, and sunshine! That's all I have!
I have a step-son who has an irreparable disease (he's in his 30's) so I sympathize. Hang in there, Roxy66! Please keep in touch!
Love,
Ruth

8. That is just heartbreaking
It's hard when your child is in pain from something that you know will pass in a few days, let alone something you have little control over at all. I hope it all works out well for him.

On a side note, while I know politics is the last thing on your mind, these stories always remind me of the nonsense that we don't have to wait for medical care in this country. Of course, we do, all the time. I'm at least glad there are services that will help your son.

9. Roxy, I hope your son is pain free very, very soon...
I have a son who is 8, daughter who is 6.

The worst thing to experience is when your children are in pain, and you can't make it stop... :(

 Your son, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers! Peace.
