I know alot of DUers are "upset" with the many Dead-eye Dick threads - however - the issue is not the actual shooting, but rather what transpired or didn't transpire afterwards

it emphasizes the White House policy for secretcy, sweeping things under the rug and generally hiding everything.

it comes down to this - there is no open, transparent, and HONEST white house. We have seen this over and over again as we get our news from foreign sources. We see this over and over again as we learn that the White House pays for "good press". And we see the bushies lack of values in taking responsibility over and over again

so that there is nothing about it on the website comes as no surprise - it's SOP for the White House
