House Report on Katrina: Is It a Whitewash of Bush?
It blasts, apparently, Chertoff, Blanco and Nagin. But from what I've read, what it attacks Blanco and Nagin for, delaying the evacuation, was as much the "fault" of the NWS, since I remember Friday morning thinking that Katrina would hit Alabama, not New Orleans, based on the NWS website. Also, Katrina didn't technically hit N.O. Had the levees held, we would have had a manageable problem.

Anyway, I'd like to get some assessments of the report. Thanks.
