Close your eyes and imagine for a minute
That it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry who had “accidentally” shot someone.

Imagine that it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and they had the Secret Service turn away the local sheriff, and not allowed themselves to be interviewed by the authorities until 18 hours later.

Imagine that it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and they had waited 21 hours to notify the press, and then only had a “friend” report it to the obscure local paper.

Imagine that Bill Clinton’s, Al Gore’s, or John Kerry’s White House spokesman had placed the blame on the individual that was shot.

Imagine that it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and there were conflicting medical reports, and conflicting stories about how close the guy was, what type of shot was fired, or how serious his injuries were. Imagine that he was not being allowed to speak to the media, no pictures were available…and then CNN reported that he had a “heart incident”.

Imagine that it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and they admitted to having “one beer” at lunch.

Imagine that it was Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and they did not have the proper license, or permit stamped on their hunting license.

Imagine for a moment that the person shot had worked for the Rose Law firm, or been even remotely affiliated with any part of Whitewater.

Imagine it had been Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry and they had been alone, on a private ranch, with a Swiss Embassy babe, without Hillary, Tipper, or Theresa.

Imagine it had been Bill Clinton, Al Gore, or John Kerry, and it took them 4 days to talk to the press, and then only in an interview with George Stephanopolis.

Imagine all that, and then open your eyes and tell me “we have a ‘liberal’ media”???

This “liberal media” crap needs to be shouted down, and defeated so thoroughly, that it will never again enter the mouths of the right-wing. This “liberal media” crap needs to be stomped into a bloody pulp once and for all.

This “liberal media” crap allows every negative truth about the Repukes and the neo-cons to be dismissed, or excused, because; “Hey, it’s just the ‘liberal media’”.

You’ll know I’m right when the story becomes, not the fact that the VP of the United States shot an innocent man in the face with a shotgun, but the media coverage of the event.

We’re already there.

1. As I've said before, if the media was truly liberal, George Bush
would still be in Texas and we'd have President Gore today.

2. Cannot imagine that; the 3 men you mentioned have way too
much integrity to ever try to sweep something like this under the rug. Plus, every one of them would STILL be sitting at the victim's side, trying to help in the recovery or just lending their support.
What a difference a person, or a statesman, makes.
