DU Fundraiser proof that Freepers are full of shit. |
|
You know, those goons were predicting;
- We'd never get there.
- It would take weeks.
- It would mysteriously end late Friday night so Skinner could save face.
- None of us have jobs, so the average donation would be $1.
And once again we all get to see how totally full of shit they really are.
Makes it all doubly worthwhile, doesn't it?

They try to raise like $75,000 each and every quarter. And they have a hard time doing it.
Finally Rimjob rolls all of the regular monthly subscriptions anticipated for the coming quarter into the total to end it and save face.

37. And watch them SQUIRM when we questions how JimRob spends their money! |
|
Speaking of which -- hey, JimRob, mind if we send an auditor over to figure out where exactly all your quarterly money goes? You wouldn't have anything in common with, say, Duke Cunningham, would ya?

41. Well, it is his business how he spends his money. |
|
If the freepers give it to him, they must want him to spend it on that nice house and that huge motor coach he travels in.

And while we are at it, whose business is whether I shave my pits or not. Since I always wear sleeves, you'll won't figure it out as I turn my compost.

This was when I was in college.
Sadly, it was an unrequited love.

23. wht would have shown our democracy more is those hearts we |
|
received from others, if we could give those away too. i bet if all hearts were capable of being given, we would not have had a community of those (haves) with tons of hearts, and those (have nots) with a few hearts like we did. saying.... we made sure all we supplied with hearts, giving and the fun in giving, but i would have liked to have taken the hearts that were given to me all the way to one,... or two..... to make sure all received. i was in overabundance while others lacked. i guess that is what i am saying. it was an uncomfortable feeling. we are better, lo llol, than that and i didnt need all i had.

35. Many of us, probably most of us, gave hearts to those who had none |
|
so we could all have at least one. I don't remember seeing any "unhearted" by the end of the drive, and if they were, it was their own fault because there were plenty of "need a heart?" threads out there. I bet even a troll or two got one just because they were without.
And if you think about it, with each heart costing five bucks, it was probably a greater gift of love to someone you didn't know at all, than to someone who was a dear pal and buddy. I'm pretty proud of all of us!
(If the freepers collect that much money for their trashy looking site, why on earth don't they hire someone to redesign it? It is an embarrassing mess. Even THEY would HAVE to agree on that one.)

36. i agree so much. that was the joy. loooking for hte heartless, bah hahah |
|
but some of us had been given and we didnt need. bet it would have been even more balanced if we were able to make it so. but it was cool seeing all the givin. i loved the threads of people saying i have no hearts, and by the time i got in there would be two three four.
yes
we are that good
