Action Needed Send a letter to your representative now and urge him or her to support the Computer-
Assisted Remote Hunting Act!
The Computer-Assisted Remote Hunting Act, introduced by Representative Tom Davis, would prohibit computer-assisted hunting, in which a “hunter” remotely aims and fires a weapon to kill an animal. In remote hunting, a rifle and camera mounted on a platform are controlled by a person via computer from any location in the world. With the click of a mouse, a person can aim and fire a weapon to kill a live animal across the globe. This “point, click, and kill” method of hunting is not even supported by hunters, who feel that it lacks any notion of a fair chase inherent in the sport of hunting.
