Hmmm... Can't post link to polls
Okay -- well I'll just talk about it as breaking news

There is a poll on MSNBC that appeared in the last hour, (Thurday, Feb 16th, 7:40 AM PST) whose poll numbers have been climbing so quickly (I just witnessed a climb of 10,000 votes in about 10 minutes) that it looks very suspicious to me.

The poll basically asks if Gitmo should be shut down. 53% say NO.

Oddly, the proportions of the poll numbers are remaining identical -- 53% no, 43% yes, 4% undecided... through the rapid ascent.

The reasons these numbers look suspicious is that this poll parallels the release of all the Abu Ghraib pictures today. I think that the poll is bogus, and is intended to look like the majority want to keep Gitmo open, while a sizeable minority does not. I simply don't believe this.
