"Buck Fush" is a stupid slogan |
|
"Fuck Bush" does just nicely, don't you think?
Just my thought of the day

You know it occurs to me that this is the definition of the Dem party right now.
We always have to play nice, we have to frame our stance so it doesn't offend them.
Isn't it time for us to pull the gloves off and let's call a spade a spade and get down to business?

9. My vocabulary is limited enough without further pruning. |
|
Whenever I consider doing that, I'm dissuaded by not wishing to limit my expressive resources.

5. Not even with Cheney's Dick. Nope. |
|
Despite the vulgarism, I still reserve such intimacies for those whom I respect.
Let "Bubba" do it - imprison the psychopath for life in a padded cell with no conjugal visits.

7. Use "Bush" in place of f*ck |
|
I posted this suggestion the other day, based on the idea that "Bush" is synonymous with incompetence.
Examples:
That is really Bushed Up!
What the Bush is going on in this country?!
You get the idea.

10. Some of us try not to curse. |
|
It's poor form. Buck Fush gets the point across without offending many people.

19. Of course, but it's more acceptable in polite company. |
|
I'm not a prude, but I work in professional fields that pretty much require a clean vocabulary. I never curse, even when I'm off work, and I work with many people who also never curse. If I actually SAID the word "FUCK", it would shock and offend many of them and lower their perception of me. If I said it in the classroom, it could actually get me disciplined.
Buck Fush both avoids the technicalities of cursing AND injects humor into the statement, making it more acceptable to many people while still getting the basic point across.
