Poll question: How Soon Before We Hear "Cheney Has Weathered the Storm" From MSM?
The media complicity/coverup has already started, but when will the
phrase "weathered the storm" enter the discourse to show how
"bold" and "politically savvy" bushco is?

5. LOL LOL! Great question.
According to Candy Crowley (CNN), it's already faded.

"Assuming that nothing else comes up, I suspect this fades."

6. Yesterday, Fox said that nobody out in America cared about the shooting.

Today, the condition of Harrington leads the news, whether the Pres will make a comment is the second item. Awful lot of time about a subject none of it's viewers care about, isn't it?

Besides, weather can only mean not resigning, regardless of how much people want him too.

7. Well Gloria Borger of CBS has changed the story to be that we should give
Cheney a big group hug because he feels really really bad. He feels so bad that his victim's family is worried about him!!!! :eyes:

8. George Stephanopoulos already exonerated Cheney last night
ABC News had George on last night to opine about what a home run Cheney had hit in his kid-glove interview with Brit Hume, and that the story could now be put behind everyone and everything. I think George did allow as how Whittington might still fuck things up for Cheney if he had the bad judgment to die from his shotgun wound to the face and chest, but that Cheney's manly acknowledgement that discharging the shotgun sort of made the shooting in part Cheney's fault was enough for George.

It was pretty nauseating. I wonder what George's reaction would have been if Cheney had been out blasting quail with George's kid or wife and the same accident happened? Would Cheney's grudging admission of third- or fourth-degree culpability be satisfactory for George then?
