The troops don't know the VP shot someone?
I just talked to a friend who has a son in the Army. He is on his way home from Iraq in a week or so and she got to talk to him a bit ago. She asked him about Cheney and they had no idea that their VP shot someone.

And the other thing he had to say is that they just want bush the fuck out of office. Not just him, but a lot of the troops. They are extremely pissed at the way things are ran. I didn't talk to him first hand I will admit, but that is what she told me. And honestly, my friend was a big bush supporter. We had many a knockdown drag-outs over that shit..lol.

Just thought I would share.

5. Well he did say that they didn't know
Maybe the troops aren't even listening to the blow-hole as much as he would like to think they are.

6. Marine Corps recruiters hate bush...
This from a friend of my daughter's who wants to go into the Marine Corps when he graduates college. He said they would chase him out of Washington if they could.

I don't believe the majority of the military likes bush at all. In fact, I think it's safe to say most wants him and his bunch gone ASAP.

8. To my knowledge, we were never told what the military vote was in 2004...
which tells us volumes about how the military voted. . .

14. ALL the votes from Europe
were SCRUBBED. There are millions of ex-pats. The registrations were through the roof. Their info was dumped in a database and their votes were SCRUBBED.

His company was flown out the other day and they went to Kuwait. Maybe they haven't been listening to too much of the news. I don't know yet.

I try to keep him updated bc they only get to watch Faux News where he is.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they didn't know.

11. My dad's neighbor has a son in the military currently stationed
in Kuwait. She came over and asked me if my Kerry bumper sticker was intended to show my dislike for Bu$h. I don't know her but I gave her an adamant HELL YES. She then proceeded to tell me how miserable her son was and that he told her at least 50% of the guys over there hated the bastard (her word) and wanted him gone NOW. She's from a lifelong Republican family and voted twice for the bastard (her word) but now thinks he may be "insane". She said she'd never vote for a Democrat and would likely not vote in the next two elections.

Sit 'em all out for all I care.

13. Well, the Army and Marines
and I assume those lesser service members, have instituted Nannyware and Firewall blockers on all DoD computers in theaters. You know to ensure out boys fighting spirit is unbowed by things like truth or those damn cowardly, sissy Dumbocratic Fibber-als.

And porn, since it pernicious and evil.
