3. In this day and age,

it is a

SIN

and a

CRIME

in big black upper case letters that mining has not been made safer. It could be and should be done.

But corporations believe that miners are expendable and it it is more cost effective to lose miners in disasters like this periodically than to ensure the safty of their employees...
