I was waiting to hear about selling the ports to the arabs. I got which kind of doctor to use when recovering from breast cancer.

I was waiting for the stopping of the NSA investigation. I got olympics. Torino is so much more exciting with people in it!

I was waiting for someone to get pissed that the white house is hiding from the press. I got "give up: It was just a hunting accident."

Nothing about the Abu Graib photos. A short piece about why we need to oppose the UN and keep people locked up at Gitmo. They made it clear that the UN didn't visit Gitmo, but didn't bother to mention that no one was allowed beyond the front door to speak with the detainees, but they had nice footage of men in white gowns playing soccer.

Here's the news: "Go back to sleep."

To create a BBC type news organization. I limit my intake of the MSM, I mainly our local news these days.

3. Support Independent World Television.
We can each give a small donation to IWT. Planned to start in 2007.

No commercials. No corporate sponsorship.

Run by a Canadian Broadcasting Company alum, Paul Jay.

2. I heard (NPR) that the UN wants to investigare Guantanamo
and the administration says no, they don't want varied miscellaneous groups passing through and questioning the prisoners. Aghast reply "but we're the UN!"

5. Sam Seder said there won't be an Air America Television.
Several months ago on "The Majority Report."

He said that more shows than Al Franken's might be filmed for TV.

However, now even Franken's show isn't on TV.
