Call him a "big government conservative". I've noticed that nothing makes them more white-hot angry than that label.

And why not?

They favor sweeping new government spending on the military and law enforcement, more restrictive laws against abortion, pornography between consenting adults and "seditious" speech that too harshly criticizes Baby Bush and "his" war. They also favor more punitive immigration enforcement, expanded government wiretapping powers, harsher drug laws (and expanded police powers to enforce them), laws that make homosexual sex a crime and restriction of television programming they deem "obscene" or "anti-American".
