Okay. Our government (for those of us in the US) has committed crimes against prisoners in Iraq. We know this. We've seen the proof. We've known this for a long time.

It's time to get serious. Translating talk to action is paramount.

So, I am going to start emailing immediately to all of my various discussion and activist groups to start planning march in Washington D.C. I have contact with several organizations that might be interested in getting involved in the planning, and I am sure that other DUers have their own contacts that they can use.

Share your ideas and let's get this off the ground.

Nothing is going to happen if we allow ourselves to be bystanders.

The official t-shirt for the protest could say, "Protest BushCo or we're all screwed."

Seriously, I'll go anywhere. I would fly anywhere for a peaceful protest.

4. i'd suggest a weekend in May...

6. It's definitely DC--it's the focal point of our entire political system

and members of Congress and the President himself will be forced to see us.

Tomorrow I am going to start emailing everyone I can find information for (I am starting with Cindy Sheehan because she knows everyone and I think she will help).
