2. Matthews said
he is planning to continue reporting on this. He will do his Sunday show on the differences between the president and vice president. He is focused on several important issues, including Cheney's lack of reporting to Bush, as well as the alcohol factor. Pat Buchanan told him that those Texas hunting parties tend to be alcohol-fueled.

16. I didn't take
the boycott seriously. People do not get a choice of leaving this world alive, but they do have the choice of leaving ignorant or informed.

4. Imus just said
"follow the liquor." Matthews said he knows Cheney watches his Sunday show. He is going after the VP for running his own government.

8. Also, "Follow the Budweiser" (my fav). Did you hear Imus
say that Richard Santuilli (sp?) head of the Fallen Heroes Fund for the center in San Antonio said he approached Halliburton for a donation and they turned him down (didn't their profits grow 400%+ since the war started)

9. Imus usually
points out that Halliburton refuses to support the FHF at least once per day.

11. Yes, they repeat this little tidbit many times !
Also, GE turned them down.

I started a thread awhile back asking why we have to hold a bake sale for the troops:

He was really all over the Scooter Libby thing, too. I hope he does stay on this.

18. Yes, we have a love hate relationship with Tweety. He does
dwell on some good stuff sometimes. One good thing I heard him say is that his ratings were way up.

19. He's getting a level of disdain for Cheney almost equal to
the hate he has for the Clintons.

Personally, I'd like to see him help to his "I Promise.." promo that he does for his show. We'll see.

20. I think it is
important to view Chris in the context of his relationship to Tip O'Neill. And that is difficult, especially for the younger folks on DU who are not familiar with Tip's style and influence.
