I had the privilege of seeing him perform this at the Vote For Change tour before the 2004 election. Although he wrote many of his songs in response to Reagan's policies in the 80's, they apply very well to what's going on today. In fact, when he was writing a lot of his most political music, I doubt Browne had any idea just how bad things would become. Who could have possibly imagined that we'd be where we are today, not just internationally, but domestically, as well?
