1. The fundies weaken their argument

by saying that the Opera film mentioned abortion when it didn't. Obviously, the parents don't know anything about the story of Faust. Sad, since I read and studied Faust in high school and understood it. I wonder if these parents intend to shield their children from everything they consider "bad". Wouldn't that be the same as blinding your children because you fear they might see evil?

2. Forgiveness is not a christian value.

She made a mistake but should she be fired? She's a first-year teacher. Honestly, she's better off being out of Bennett which is nothing but a bathroom on I-70.
