29. Just got back from ski trip there (Whistler) last week!

I love Vancouver - talk about a true melting pot!

The people up there are so different from the people in Texas; cosmopolitan without the pretense of American big cities, in many ways "kinder" than we are.

I guess when you don't have "we're number one" relentlessly pounded into your head you kind of look around and see what's really there. When fairness is one of your core values you tend to just be nicer.

I think we may be joining you up there some day - plus am thinking of maybe buying a house up along the bay (way out past West Vancouver).
