everytime I read one of these "don't he look awful" posts I look in the mirror and am very glad I don't have to stand public scrutiny. To me, he's a guy hitting 60. I don't think he looks bad at all, because I think he thinks he's on top of his game and all is well. If he were haggard and sick looking that would imply a conscience and a soul and I am not convinced of that yet.

I think you're spot-on. We have MORE than enough evidence that he DOES INDEED think that he's on top of his game and all is well. He never makes any mistakes. He never has any to admit or for which to apologize. He's sure God's on his side and has anointed him and manipulates his every move. He thinks the judgment of history will reaffirm that he was right. And he doesn't even care about that, having already declared that it doesn't matter because we'll all be dead.

I think your point is well-taken. He DOESN'T look like he has much care or concern weighing on him. Perhaps he's become to numbed out by all that drinking and coke, that he really can't feel too much anymore. Especially when all the sycophants around him are insulating him and making sure he only hears the good things he wants to hear.

9. The Presidency takes its toll.

Look at all of the 2 term presidents. Look at a picture of them at the start of their 2 terms and look at them at the end. You have 8 years of aging and also the stress of the job takes its toll also. That goes for the bad ones as well as the good ones.

As a matter of fact I do not look like I did 8 years ago. I hate to admit it, but I do not.
