Are there search engines that are NOT Google/Microsoft/Yahoo
out there? (including any that use Google, etc at the back end, anonymously?)

After watching the hearing from 2 days ago about China censorship and especially seeing that arrogant ass from Google justify what they do, I want a new search engine

10. I've used a couple over the years, but I'm not sure how independent
they are - primarily Metacrawler.com and Webcrawler.com

How good they are in relation to the more popular ones, I'm not sure.

Additional deal information can be found here. Since the deal, FAST has focused exclusively on enterprise search as detailed here, yielding over 75% of revenues and continuing to be the fastest growing area of business.
