Cheney has a full time DOCTOR around him 24/7--Medical malpractice? |
|
Did Cheney's doctors advice the "former alcoholic" with heart problems--to drink and take medications at the same time?
I am not a lawyer or a doctor -- but would a complaint to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, reopen the investigation?

2. Since we the taxpayers, are forced to pay for his medical care, shouldn't |
|
we have a say if he's fit for office, or not?

3. Certainly it depends on what meds he's on, but in many |
|
cardiac cases, patients are advised to HAVE some red wine, and some are also told that drinking in moderation is just fine.

6. You know how do we know that heart condition is for real? |
|
They tell us he has had heart surgery but for all we know he's going into rehab every time he checks into a hospital.
Just a thought-- who can tell what kind of BS they have spewed for five years!

7. We're entitled to know his condition, not run his life |

I think Cheney is as much as a maniac as anyone, but he has the same rights as the rest of us.
The problem is that he thinks he has more of them.
Advising a resistant patient is standard operating procedure for most physicians. Most people are resistant patients. A complaint to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners would be received with derisive laughter, from both Republicans and Democrats.
On the other hand, standard legal procedure is that if Harry Whittington dies anytime within 366 days of the incident, it will be re-opened for review as a possible case of negligent homicide.

9. I thought the same thing when I filed a bar complaint...they would laugh |
|
I thought the same thing when I filed a bar complaint — against a law firm a few years ago in Miami; that also happens to be one Jeb Bush’s top campaign contributors, and that same party money laundered most of the money for the 9/11 terrorist attack.
I am not even a lawyer — but the Florida Bar in Miami forced them to turn over all the records to the Bar and me, for a legal proceedings from 1967.

10. That's a far different case, though |
|
A law firm is a public entity that is licensed by the state, and therefore is accountable to the public in every way. And I think you did the right thing.
An individual, even the President, has a zone of rights that should be unassailable. The same thing, obviously, pertains to the VP, and his personal physician should likewise be kept out of politicking.
These boundaries have never been fully tested, but going after the Royal Physician is probably the last in line of complaints to file. But there IS a very strong case for opening an investigation into the way Old Dead-Eye handled the shooting. If his impaired health is part of the issue, it becomes a topic of legal and public discussion. Disclosure is then an issue. But 3-D pictures of his hemorrhoids are off-limits.
I don't say these things lightly -- it may be an old-fashioned notion I have, but I'm even willing to grant rights of privacy to those who don't respect mine. In the long run, it won't very much whether George and Dick disrespect my rights. No, only MY respect for THEIR rights will matter. The petty actions of fools are quickly forgotten, as history remembers them only as fools.
Still, there are occasions wherein ass needs to be kicked and kicked with lusty defiance, and I congratulate you for taking action against the fools with more power than wisdom.
May we, none of us, ever be in the position of the fools!

11. I was a party in 1967 but not given notice of the proceedings... |
|
but not the general public -- so I doubt the Bar association of Florida made them turn over the records because I was a member of the general public.
I am not lawyer, but I was told by the Repuke lawyers that they destroyed the records -- concerning my grandfathers Will/Trust. I believed them. But, I thought what the hell, I have nothing to loose by asking the Bar association to question them, and then to my shock — I received the whole file (according to the lawyer), that they had told me was destroyed.
And the file I received -- implicated yet other law firms-- and the same parties that laundered money for the 9/11 terrorists, whom was one of the largest contributors for Jeb bush's campaign for governor.

my dad had open heart surgery 10yrs ago, has had complications ever since, takes more pills than I care to count in one day, and STILL can polish off at least a six pack in an evening (tall boys, not 12s) and does so almost every evening. His Dr tells him not to, he still does.
I say this because he and Cheney are within a couple years of the same age and ALL the men I know in that age bracket are, within a few degrees, the same type of people.
How is my dad NOT like Cheney? He would have had the common sense not to get all liquored up and go hunting.
