Abramoff: timed to weaken Legislative in battle with Bush monarchy ? |
|
The thought occurs whether, either by deliberate manufacture (more "social engineering") or by random chance, the result of the Abramoff brouhaha will be 1. to distract from the fascist vermin in the Executive branch who are wiping their asses with the Constitution and 2. to weaken the Legislative branch by introducing fear, suspicion and butt-covering, just as it is challenging this Executive branch's presumptuous attempt to seize illegitimate power.
It would be best not to let this happen. Democratic leadership (small 'l'): got your ears on ?
Doober's smirking a little too much again lately.

The timing is perfect for 2006. We'll sweep the place clean and bring in some fighters. Just in time to impeach the Chimp.

This really makes the Congress willing to roll over and play dead.
Rather, the intelligent ones will seize the spotlight by holding hearings that demonstrate their honesty, forthrightness, and willingness to challenge power for the good of the American people.
Never discount the power of ambition. Bush is a wounded, lame duck. Bunch of chickens are about to peck him to death so they can tell us they're eagles.

It's not about rolling over and playing dead, it's about losing sight of priorities and goals and becoming as ineffectual as they have been since this Resident entered office.
The Bush league may be assholes and ignorami, but they sure fight better than we do. The legislative branch, mostly in the person of its Democratic members, has recently been rediscovering its nads, and the notion of balance of power, and the fact that the Repubicans under this administration have been working an agenda of restoring the powers stolen from the Presidency after Nixon abused them. The leaders of the Party of the People are now semiconscious, and the last thing we need is a distraction that works and gets them orbiting their navel again or pondering about why people use 'liberal' as a cussword. Their track record over the last 6 years doesn't really give cause for complacency, so let's not get sloppy, shall we ? There are bigger problems around than Jack Abramoff, and we know their address.

Where Jack the Reliable takes one from uhh, I mean for the team ? The fruits of breaking the pin~ata are expected to be the downfall of prominent Democrats in addition to the yob masses from the GOP, clearing the field for the real power players (you know, people like Big Dick) to enjoy the slop trough alone ?
