I don't think you should be directing potential customers to that right-wing pinhead's site.

I think the subtext is that he's advocating shooting lawyers, too. Har dee har har.

5. 'Kay. The store is called "Republican Red".

He's really riffing on this, too: "I'd rather be hunting with Dick Cheney than riding with Ted Kennedy"

http://www.cafepress.com/republicanred

But go ahead. Send him your money.

9. To the point of giving their shit free ad space on DU?
The link wasn't "God, these people are fucked in the head", it was "This shirt is GREAT!!"

So-- okay, buy it, and help the guy come up with his next contribution check to Rick Santorum's re-election fund. But I would think some folks here might want to know if they're supporting someone like that when they buy a t-shirt.

16. Um, Jack, you posted a link to a product from a far right-wing store.
He's also selling Reagan memorabilia and some fine shirts saying "W: Still the President".

I think you're the one who needs to call it a night, frankly.

14. The specific cafepress store with this shirt is a right-wing site:
See for yourself:

http://www.cafepress.com/republicanred

I sell stuff through cafepress, too. They're great. But there are all different kinds of stores run by all different kinds of people, selling all different kinds of stuff.

Edited on Sat Feb-18-06 01:13 AM by impeachdubya
No.

All I said was, the guy with this specific cafepress store (not cafepress in general) is obviously a right-winger. Maybe some folks here might want to bear that in mind before buying shirts from him.

Here, check out the store. (Page down for some REAL winners, like the Karl Rove noose hanging the democratic donkey.) See what YOU think.

Maybe you saw the shirt on a direct link, but the fact remains that the guy selling it is obviously a right-winger. So buy it, laugh at it, whatever- but I'm not gonna apologize for pointing that fact out. Sheesh.

11. The t-shirt shows
the outline of a quail with a target on it and the word "quail" below, and the outline of a man with a target and the word "lawyer" below, and the phrase "any questions?" below them both.

Cafepress has alot of funny stuff.

I don't know what people are talking about.
They probably sell stuff for the repugs too.
I personally have only seen the funny stuff, and some great things as well.

The party of Kool-aid. It describes the repugs well.

34. This thread...
...reminds me how alot of 'contemporary' folk just don't care about politics... they make fun of right wing and left wing equally. Personally I think it's dumb but at least it raises awareness.
