Watching Woodward and Bernstein on Larry King taping.
Woodward appears to have changed his tune.

Bernstein...impressive. He said the system is thoroughly corrupt, corroded. He's right.

2. Woodward has been a whore for a long time now
that's why we hear from him a lot more from the big media than Bernstein who still cares about the country.

4. Yes, you are right.
Bernstein was very impressive, and he made clear that the dangers posed by the Nixon gang some 30 years ago have come back to threaten our form of constitutional democracy today. He is far more articulate than Woodward, and there has never been any question which one of them is a capable writer. But Bernstein has "limited" himself to telling the truth, while Woodward has expanded his horizens to helping this administration promote their lies.

5. Bernstein said that both parties are purely responsive to
money but not the welfare of the American people. Dead on!

6. Yes.
I liked that. It reminded me of something I read last week in a Gore Vidal book I bought, where he says that the USA actually has only one political party with two right wings.

7. Yes, and let's keep perpetuating that message
so more people won't vote.
