The petition for the Ms. Carroll has be online for a week today, and has nearly 300 signatures-- far far from what is needed to make an impact on her situation. Concerned citizens, Ms. Carroll deadline drawls closer everyday and is receiving less and less media attention. Will You help by posting the petition on your blog sites, forwarding the petition to a friends, anything to kick up some dust and let her holders know we are concerned. I can list people who wish to help as co-sponsors of the petition (even list their sites) and now have complete administrative control. Please, please join in the effort. It can make a difference.

She's the American reporter hostage in Iraq.

I hope very much she gets released.

I won't sign the petition, however, because I'm not currently student from one of the "higher learning institutions of the world" and I don't even see it described who this petition will be sent to.
It appears to be badly written and since no target is specified perhaps a waste of time (an undelivered petition = tree falling in forest)
