Dave Letterman's statement to Bill O'Reilly about Cindy Sheehan was so cogent it was heartbreaking. With just a few words he revealed the callow indifference of many in the halls of power and their mainstream media cohorts to the very real tragedy that continues to unfold in Iraq. Please tell Dave to keep speaking from his heart and not to be discouraged by those who don't hold the true American values of love, honor, and human decency. He is the real deal and always has been. I've been a fan of his for over 20 years and have never had more respect for this true titan of American culture. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We love you Dave!

The show tonight, 01/03/2006, was very good. I especially liked how Mr. Letterman did point out that Mr. O'Reilly does not always speak the truth. Mr. Letterman has done a very good job and I appriciate the effort that he and the rest of the Late Show staff go to put on such a quality show.
