I appreciate the news and substance I pick up here at DU but this sort of thread isn't where it's at.

I am a registered Democrat and have never voted against the party in a national election but am starting to think that the Democratic "leadership" in Washington is even more offensive than the Republicans (hard to believe that's even possible). At least the hard-right fascists believe in what THEY do. Seems to me that Hillary and her ilk tend to vote one way and say another.

I thought Nader was dreadfully cynical to play that old saw back in 2000 but ... but I guess I'm cynical now.

Hell, you know you're starting to lose it (or everyone else is) when you start agreeing with Lyndon LaRouch more than anyone in Congress today (except perhaps Russ Feingold).

This Hackett thing really stuck in my craw. Also the fact that it's a REPUBLICAN, Senator Weldon of PA, who is the man behind the Able Danger hearings in DC. The Democrats are as much in the coverup of 9/11 as the Republicans.
