Warning: Mary Matalin defending her lover on MTP...Dick Cheney
Edited on Sun Feb-19-06 09:27 AM by spanone
Gee, Dick is a swell guy who is so misunderstood.

Kiss my ass, Mary.

She is as arrogant and obnoxious as her (ex?) boss.

7. did he give her that hideous huge brooch?
explaining that there was "mass confusion" so they wanted to sort everything out before going public.

ooh, now Timmy's asking about drinking..

looks around the table, says everyone who knows the VP "knows he's not a drinker"

but...acknowledges he had "a drink" at lunch, but wasn't under the influence when hunting.

9. Go, Mary! Go!
I can't think of anything I'd like to hear more than public apologies for Dick Cheney everyday from now until November.

I hope the GOP KEEPS reminding us he wasn't drunk when he shot that guy....

12. Bingo
Today they claim this "story is over"...yet goons like Matalin and others are still putting out conflicting stories and didn't answer the ones that haven't been answered.

Yep...keep trying to explain this thing away from now until November, I've still got plenty of questions to ask about that huntin trip.

Cheers...

21. Yup...
It was "over" all week...and yet it seems to be a lot louder today than it was Monday....

And the "apology" only put it MORE in the spotlight.....

23. I Keep Hoping To Hear From Pamela Willeford
I'm sure this lady has something to say...she's the witness we haven't heard from...and I'm sure some intrepid "journalist" is busy trying to find out why right now. With so many quivers here in this story, best not to fire all the arrows at once...they allowed the drip, drip, drip to begin by stonewalling and drip, drip, drip it will be.

Cheers...

28. Note I Put It In Quotes
But there's still a stench out there...this is the stuff an Enquirer or other checkbook "journalists" (there are those quotes again) who smell a nice, juicy sale here if they can splash "Vice President Hunting More Than Quail"

My dream is seeing Lynne Chenney filing papers...ya know, the only thing she could do if she found out her husband had cheated on her. (uh oh, I said the unspoken!!) :spank:

32. Was He On The Hunt?
I only saw a report in that Corpus Christi paper that made any mention of her being at the ranch, but departing Sunday before she had a chance to be questioned. Kinda nice when you have your own airstrip on your property.

Of course, the big question was where was Mrs. Chenney. You know if this had been Gore or Clinton, that would be the relentless question by Rushbo and his ilk. For someone who jumped all over the media for "picking on her daughter" (to score political points), she's sure been awfully quiet the past week. Very un-Lynne-like. Her silence says something.

34. Probably fled to neutral Switzerland. She has interesting activities there
Where she, coincidentally enough, has been hosting "an Iftaar dinner for select members of the Muslim diplomatic corps" for the past few years. In Switzerland?! Nope, no private, corporate agendas there.

U.S. Ambassador Pamela Willeford Hosts Iftaar Dinner
October 26, 2004

On Monday, October 25, U.S. Ambassador Pamela Willeford hosted an Iftaar dinner for select members of the Muslim diplomatic corps. This marks the second time that Ambassador Willeford celebrated the traditional breaking of the fast during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

The celebration began at sunset with a call to prayer, and concluded with a formal dinner hosted by the Ambassador.

In her welcoming remarks, Ambassador Willeford spoke of the importance all Americans place on religious tolerance: "Over one billion people around the world practice Islam, including millions of Americans. The United States values its Muslim citizens, and the diversity that they bring to our society. In fact, it is this diversity that helps to create the American character."

29. I'm watching The Time Machine on one of the movie channels.
It's a beautiful Sunday morning, and I don't want to taint it by the noise of the television being thrown through the living room window.
