Pat Robertson doing a "heck of a job" |
|
ABC news has a story out on our nations #1 Telibangelical thug Pat Robertson. It seems that a few of his fellow travelers are becoming rather dismayed with some of Pat's pronouncements. They shouldn't be--here's an interesting take on the matter: According to the story, Brian Britt of the religious studies program at Virginia Tech see's Robertsons remarks as a strategy to appear as an underdog, a victim. When people attack him for the bat-shit loony things he say's, he ends being viewed as an underdog, being persecuted for his christian beliefs by evil secularists--like me. Just the fact that a sizable portion of my fellow americans fall for this snake-oil salesmen is dismaying. We are the only industrialized nation brainwashed by so much religious idiocy to make this clown news worthy.

The Republicans are using. Anytime there's a fuss when they do something wrong, they're all like, "Why's everybody picking on us?" WTF, you guys control all three branches of govt. and you whine when you get a little criticism?
