1. Do you mean, is it fascism yet?
Yes, it is most assuredly fascism.

Take one down, pass it around, 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

4. I know you're looking forward to it
I am too, but today may not be the best day for many bouncy smileys. The rampant corporate cronyism has reared its ugly head again in a most brutal and public fashion. Many people here are mourning.

6. I know and I thought about it.

Fact is, we have some serious cleaning up to do in this country. The Bush administration has become a virtual fountain of misery and sorrow the fact is that you can't live there non-stop. Sometimes you have to take a break.

Incidentally, I've been looking at the tragedy this morning for more than 3 hours. Its not something that I just tuned in to.

7. Okay
Just wanted to give you a subtle heads up if you weren't aware. The jumping happy smileys seemed a bit odd to me.

8. I spent the first 3 hours this morning in horror, shock, and sadness.

I knew I would be spending at least part of the rest of the day at work with more of the same. Finally getting the DU articles was going to be the first decent thing that happened to me today. Its been along 5 years with Bush, I'm starting to wonder if the nation will survive the last 3. Now I realize that I tend to see things a little differently from most, but I am almost completely Katrina-ed out. I refuse to spend the next 3 years with unhappiness my chief emotion.

10. Okay, you win
I'm with you on that one though I will admit to forgetting that for the first month after the second stolem election.
