2. I would like it very much if a reporter would mention this:
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/washington/articles/2006/01/04/bush_could_bypass_new_torture_ban/

Not that he's likely to take questions and not that the presstitutes would do their job even if he did take questions but,........

5. He should have paid better attention during his civics classes.
Where did he get the idea that the Executive Branch is supposed to interpret the law?

6. Yep, he seems to like to usurp
both the congressional and judicial powers.

And yes, he should have paid better attention but he was, after all, a C student.

16. This is why McCain can not be trusted....
It was all show...

If he was the key figure behind passing that bill, why then haven't we heard a peep about the executive order from Mr. Indignation.....

7. I'll depend on some generous DUer to listen and tell me what
idiot son said. I really can't listen to his voice anymore.

Sometimes I mute the TV and just watch the expressions...for my laugh of the day! I'm even finding that hard to do lately!

12. You Forgot A Couple
He has to use "terra" a few times, and "central front in the war on terra". Those will definitely be in there. Also, we're going to hear about "successes in Iraq" and the wonderful elections. Absent will be any mention of "THEOCRACY" in Iraq.

21. Actually, I'm Working For The Chinese
I'm taking the economic approach to the task. The Chinese have some leverage in this regard. I'm going with a winner.

So, we're working together, but separately. (Of course, Agent Mike, i will deny ever writing this, even if there's proof. Hey, that's what John Gibson does!)

10. Could it be that he will introduce a new product line? Iran perhaps?
I think that now that the holiday season is over, it may be time for Bushco to reintroduce us to the Axis of Evil, with emphasis on Iran. I think he will sell conflict with Iran as necessary because; Iran has an omminus influence over the fledgling democracy that is Iraq, Iran seeks the wiping out of Israel, Iran is developing an offensive missile capability, Iran continues to advance its nuclear program and Iran is destabilizing the Middle East.

This may not be the business-as-usual speech we have come to expect, for given his polling troubles, he may want to focus attention elsewhere.

Not to mention any hearings on NSA spying or the possibility that Rove is still in the crosshairs of indictment.
