Does anyone know of any Education Think Tanks/Policy institutes that work for better education policy? I'm looking for non-profit institutes or public interest groups.
Thanks!

Great, thank you! I'm looking for internship/job sources for those interested in education policy, and this does help.

is you run into conservative think tanks whose agenda is to undermine public education and build public support for vouchers. You won't find that in the teachers unions.

Though this one is closely associated with the DLC - (left of right, but right of most of "us") http://www.ppionline.org/ppi_ka.cfm?knlgAreaID=110Don't know how liberal they are, but - people associated with them come from liberal groups. http://www.stuartfoundation.org/Hunt's a Dem. . . http://www.highereducation.org/index.shtml
