So Hackett political aides are releasinig negative info on Brown? |

According to Kos www.dailykos.com
Staffers for Paul Hackett (we should emphasize that it is not Hackett himself)upset over his leaving the race (under pressure) have released "opposition research" regarding Brown--which probably now will end up in the hands of the Republicans.
Do we now have to do their work for them?
Further proof that we should have just had a party primary in Ohio and let the best man win--which ever one it would have been.

I'm seriously beginning to wonder.

I believe his people are very upset that he was pressured to leave the race, but ultimately it was his decision--he could have stayed and fought. And also, I don't think he is behind releasing that information--just disgruntled campaign workers--but it doesn't bode well for the general election if former Hackett supporters will be sitting on their hands and not supporting the nominee.

3. Probably not buy he does seem naive enough to make one worry |

There is something to be said for mavericks, but there is also value in thinking things through.

Yeah, he's going to be a real charmer. We're fucked this year. Way too much in-fighting. Try again in 2008 I guess.

5. How do we know who is keeping this going? |

Who benefits from the stir? I posted my .025 cents when the thing broke but why keep this going? Doesn't OH have enough troubles?

6. We're dealing with zealots here |
|
every campaign has some....
What appears to have happened is that some zealots were disgruntled over the decision to pull out and decided to hurt Brown in any way they could.....zealots seldom think strategically or long-term.

7. When it comes to Hackett, I don't trust Kos's stories |
|
Kos was too willing to lie about Brown's entry to the Senate race. Making Hackett the guilty party when all the while Hackett was pushed out of the race unfairly.
He was too willing to blame Hackett for this thing.
Kos has his head screwed on backwards when it comes to Hackett.
