Student Kills Anthrax Spores With Clothes Iron

(AP) PITTSBURGH, PA A Pittsburgh high school student used his science fair project to show that a clothes iron can kill anthrax-like spores inside an envelope.

Seventeen-year-old Marc Roberge, a senior at Central Catholic High School, will have that research published in the Journal of Medical Toxicology in June.

Roberge decided to try the experiment after discussing his father’s work as a medical toxicologist for the U-S Centers of Disease Control and Prevention office in nearby South Park.

Because possessing anthrax is illegal, Marc used another kind of bacterial spore from the anthrax family that is more heat-resistant than anthrax for his experiments.

3. Noooo!
I can't do it!
Ironing is against my religion. I'm a Crumpled-Clothesian and I just can't bring myself to iron.

8. Well, if an iron can kill anthrax spores, then perhaps the clothes dryer
might do the same. Then just leave your clothing lie in the dryer until they are cooled and crumpled; thus you can retain your Crupled-Clothesian status.

we just stuff all the letters in the microwave for 2 minutes and that should take care of all the bugs. Nuke and Serve!

4. So a high school kid....performs a scientific experiment...
Edited on Mon Feb-20-06 02:16 PM by MadMaddie
On lets say his allowance and his mom's iron and the results say that a
<snip>
bacterial spore from the anthrax family that is more heat-resistant than anthrax for his experiments.
<snip>

and he kills it.

Meanwhile, our ineffective * cabal government has not determined where the anthrax used in the attacks against democrats came from and hasn't figured out how to kill the Anthrax spores with Kajillion dollar funding.

In conclusion:

There is hope for our high schools in America we still have a lot of smart kids out there

THE * CABAL MUST BE IMPEACHED FOR TREASON AND DERELICTION OF DUTY!!

I can't remember the show but one of those ones with a British butler used to have him ironing the paper. Now I guess they will iron mail too.

14. "anthrax-like spores" "anthrax family" it's almost the same thing
though it would've been more accurate if they had said that in the headline.

I reprinted it here as was.
