ALBERT GORE. STILL PRESIDENT. WHEN WILL THE CLOCK START RUNNING?
In Absentia -- and waiting for his first term to start. This is The Flat Truth. Mathematical and Electoral Truth. The Supreme Court That Destroyed America was less wise and less honorable than the least-informed, dullest, smelliest Gore Voter on the planet. They chose ideology over democracy -- and became politicians in cheap black robes. As they are now, and probably will be for many decades. A Tribunal of Crime Bosses. Thugs. Racketeers.

I have one word for the United States of Today: We are soooo 1950's SOVIET. Just. Like. They. Were. USSR --The Union of Stupid Soviet Republicans. They have now made us into what they used to fear the most. We are them.

Albert Gore is still the President of the United States. Until his term is served, he will always remain so.

3. I guess he should have went to FL with a tent
and camped on Harris' lawn.

We have no time for DINO decorum. Ralph was right about our corporatist state.
Your assertion is extremely tempting for me, in a sense of fairness.
But another pro-NAFTA DINO Dem is the same as another Republican, I have realized.

Bush is a 'hair on fire' exception, however. I voted for Kerry. Another pro-NAFTA Dem who took a polite and comfortable seat after he won. We HAVE TO HAVE A FUCKING FIGHTER!

We need a bad ass motherfucker who will rip their heads off, suck their guts out, and throw away their skins!

5. well, I was a Dean supporter, too
This "new" Gore might have got my vote in 2000. I really hate nafta, drug war, death penalty, iraq war dems... but I hate their gop counterparts more...:kick:

10. who will rip their heads off, suck their guts out, & throw away their skin
this is the pc meat of it, but the preceeding part feels better.

The new Gore is great, but even *I* can hear the 'flip-flop' accusations.

2. Nice thought but not so.

We can say it all we want, but he did not take the oath of Office & therefore is not President. It's time to let go & look to the future. I would love to See Al Gore run again but as I have said many times here on DU, I don't think he's going to.

ON EDIT: I will say though that we do have an illegal President.

4. OK, but
he will never serve a term sitting around waiting to be installed. He has to run again. The 2000 election is over, and the term it was for is finished. I'll agree, Gore should have served it, but he didn't, and nothing whatever can be done about it.

So. Will he run in 2008 to get his first term?? God, I hope not. Clark is the man.

11. Yes, Al Gore is the only person
that can right the tragic wrong of the coup of 2000. He has the moral high ground, the intellectual depth and the gravitas to be President.I believe he will run, win and go on to become our greatest President.

12. I love Gore. How I wish he'd run in 2008.
He has the 'what if' vote, for sure.
