Can someone explain why China couldn't buy Unocal for
Security reasons and Dubai can buy our ports???

Is it because its all about Oil and oilcompanies???

NOT SECURITY!!!

1. I would think because they could siphon our
oil for themselves in a tight spot and bring our economy to a halt.I'm guessing though.

Couldn't dubai shut our ports down and stop the flow of goods
shut the US down??? I think its because Bush has a deal with the UAE and China scares the heck out of Bush and he doesn't have control of them...

Coming in March, same month as the Oil Bourse is to open.

"According to Caijing, a respected financial magazine, a Chinese government delegation is due to visit Iran as early as March ’06 to formally sign an agreement allowing China Petrochemical (Sinopec), to develop Yadavaran.

"In exchange for developing Yadavaran, one of Iran’s largest onshore oil fields, China would agree to buy 10m tons a year of liquefied natural gas for 25 years, beginning in ’09"
