They have oscolating ones are pretty nice. They blow warm air, but there are no heating elements exposed. They will heat a room easily. We take ours camping, because we live in a high rise apartment we don't need to use the heater, ever. Anyway, if you find these on sale and you know people who need them, buy a couple. They are safe and very good at what they are supposed to do. And they're inexpensive already. Duckie
