3. some of the money that financed 9/11
was routed through UAE. And a UAE citizen was apparently once on a hunting party with Bin Laden. That's all I can get from anyone.

6. UAE is just another of the oil families.
But they have a booming economy, such that it is.

11. did you read that article?
and understand it? from what I saw, it said that UAE is the center of the Hawala networks, they are basically the Western Union of the non-wired world. it's a banking center, do you blame banks for everything that comes through them? if so, then fine. remember, the 9/11 terrorists had accounts at US banks, it's the only way to get money in the US, therefore, US companies can't be trusted either. neither of your citations say the money came from the UAE, only through the UAE. It's like saying that Mohammed Atta had an account at Bank of America, therefore San Francisco was to blame for the financing of the attacks.

try to learn a little about banking first, willya?

12. Before you start getting "high and mighty" and full of yourself,
perhaps you ought to know that I work for a financial institution. In fact, I am a Trainer. I know how transactions can be monitored. I've monitored many myself, when customers had questions. And although the government may not have been directly involved, when we asked them to crack down they did little or nothing.

If terrorists can infiltrate Dubai businesses so easily that it is the preferred conduit, then they can infiltrate the Port Security - without help from the UAE government. The UAE doesn't have to be involved, just too uninvolved. THAT is the danger, which you do not seem able to understand.
