The new commercials extolling the virtue of colon cancer tests
are downright creepy. Sorry to see lines of guys smiling after colon exams just creeps me out. Hope it works but still creepy, very creepy.

1. Yes, but what you don't know could hurt you!
It's not just to look for cancer, but lots of other possible problems.
I just turned 50 and need one :scared: so I'll do it.
I agree the commercials are dumb. How DO you sex up a colonoscopy?

2. Is that the one where people are all happy and excited about
it being their turn?

If so, that one's old.

5. I just saw the one with the woman "on his back".
Bob keeps resisting getting his colon cancer check. Sally is on his back about it. You go Sally.

Sally is literally riding on his back throughout the commercial.

7. Wait'll you see the CURE for colon cancer. Now THAT's creepy!
Surgery in which at least a portion of the colon is removed, chemo (no better than 50/50 results) which removes every bit of hair from the body, turns skin a funny color and makes you sick as a dog. Not to mention the lifelong humor of living with a partial or missing colon and a painfully scarred abdomen (if you're lucky). Yea, those commercials are just plain creepy! Let's just not talk about it....

8. What's creepy is Coco the Colon...
One of the local hospitals in Huntsville has a giant colon model you can walk through. They call it "Coco". I kid you not. Hopefully, it will not have sound effects.
