I just wanted to recommend to everyone here to get off your collective asses and get active.

Converting Bush supporters is a lost cause, and they only account for 38% of potential voters.

Join a group like Democracy for American and meet people with similar views that are willing to go out and grab the other 62%, educate and persuade them to help push the GOP out of power.

I live in a what I percieved to be a heavily republican area, and felt isolated until I found DFA.

Now that I've met people that believe in many of the same things I do and attended a training, I'm looking forward to the 2006 elections.

The local group I joined plan on doing alot of canvassing, writing letters to the editor and campaigning for candidates and causes we all believe in.

Honestly, you'll feel better when you believe you can and actually do make a difference

6. Took the words outta of my mouth bro. If they need to steal votes to
Edited on Mon Feb-20-06 11:31 PM by LaPera
get a republican congressman elected in my district, they won't hesitate to use their machines to change the votes and/or use the machines not to count the democratic candidate votes. They won't let anyone see the software, because it would be exposed.

Few believe it, media doesn't report it, so why not continue to steal elections, nothing ever happens to them.

But I'll still vote.
