Y'all gotta hear this caller talk about leaving the republican party! :wow:

CSPAN Video - on Port Security:

Independent says, "If I have to vote for anybody, Humpty Dumpty, anybody, but I will NEVER Vote for another Republican."

That's funny. Maybe * is Humpty Dumpty. He's going down and it won't be pretty when he hits.

6. It really started a while back, (the awakening) but it keeps
getting more and more interesting. On Sat./Sun./Mon the freeps were more than out numbered by the ship jumpers (I was a jumper in 2000).

The thing is you can tell how distraught they are, this is not going to go away. We need to get their voter registrations changed so nothing can be stolen!

Wow, Swamp Rat - you are just a genius graphic machine.

No "Complete History of the Downfall of the Bush Empire" will be complete without a few pages of your art.

18. I like the term "The Awakening".
It has a grand feeling to it, like the Enlightenment or the Reformation. Let's use this term to refer to Republicans finally seeing the light.

It would also make a great book title. Oh wait, there already is a book with that title.

7. I heard the caller from C SPAN earlier today live....
though he was passionate about his thinking on the port issue, I thought his anger was over reactionary on such trivial matter. Instead I thought he should have reflected an anger over his government spying on him.

8. Maybe he has learned to chew gum and walk at the same time?

Both issues are very important, but national security is a an extremely hot button issue for millions of Americans, especially with Bush supporters... yet he has utterly failed them. He has just allowed islamo-facist-ayrab-terrists to take over security of our major ports.

Knock knock! HELLO! ... What will be left to spy on in the USA if nukes take out a few of our cities, including D.C.?

14. I disagree. C-SPAN will cut you off if you go off topic. And
remember it takes a while to wake up. I think the important thing is, he said I will never vote Republican again. There are alot of Repub's that will stay home or still vote Repub.

That was the important thing about his comments, "I will never vote Republican again! I would vote for Humpty Dumpty before a Republican!".

Some of us are born in Republican areas, we don't know any different. It took along time for me to even have time to think about politics in a truly serious way (lotta of 70-80 hr weeks).

The moderates were so focused on getting a majority they took their eyes off the policies being imposed by this cabal.

Just FYI (I didn't vote Repub. from the early 90's, just formally changed my registration in 2000, when I knew the evil in the Republican Party!).

22. Kick, but he sounded like a DUer pretending to be a Republican.
Sorry for being skeptical, but I've heard too many Republicans use that same tactic with Randi Rhodes. I'm not saying I don't like it. I think it's a good way to change some minds. I'm just not sure I'm convinced he was actually a two time Bush voter.

"the Democrats and Ted Kennedy will get the blame", that told me it wasn't a former Repug, but a Dem.

But that's ok, well said.

Edited on Tue Feb-21-06 08:00 PM by MissWaverly
Best post I heard in a long time, I like when the newsman said they say this thing has been
fully vetted and the caller replied they said there were WMD's in Iraq. They're just criminals.

32. Ah! Now we see that Bushy is NOT Republican any more than Democrat!
He and his rich American and Arab buddies are a party all to themselves. They hold no allegiance to Republicans, fundamentalist Christians, American Democracy, or even decency itself. They answer only to the almighty dollar. And only if it's headed towards their own bulging pockets.

Absolute human filth!
Where's the Irish Spring?

33. That's why this is gonna sink him... He has abandoned his supporters
and they have finally begun to catch on. I suspect that if he lasts until 2007, they will be coming for him with pitchforks and torches... not peace-loving liberals, but repukes and libertarians.

I hope his Mars spaceship is ready. :D
