Super Funny Freeper Santorum Thread
Seems ole' Ricky-boy got's himself into a pickle over a "shady" mortgage arrangement.

It's amazing how many Freakers don't have a problem with corruption and malfeasance in our public officials, as long as they have an (R) after their name.

This has got to be the Post of the year. Mod's, please save this one for the "Stupidest Freeper Post of the Year Award":

"Why can't polititians act more like the average Joe?"

A Senator makes, what, 150k??? That's above your average Joe, but still not an obscene amount of money. I think we should pay them much more, if they made more $$$ they would have less incentive to take illegal money.

No matter what it's stated policy, I don't think it is illegal for a bank to loan money to whoever they want to. If this was a zero (or ridiculously low) interest loan it could be a problem, but it isn't. It's a five year loan, my question would be how is Santorum going to pay it off if he isn't wealthy.

This is nothing compared to John sKerry taking mortgages on houses his wife had paid for even though sKerry had no way to pay them back. But the media dropped that without a second glance.

From a marketing perspective, this was a good move by the bank, having a U.S. Senator as a customer.

That looks pretty good on a credit application, too.

Time to move along.

The guy's got 6 or 7 kids. If he's making 150 grand, he's an average joe

Yep, Ricky is just like your average Joe.

I know it's does not need repeating, but Freakers are the most delusional people I have ever seen.

They're like Neidermeier in Animal House. I can see them bending before their Republican master and saying "thank you sir, may I have another".

1. Wow...
So, the solution to thievery is to give everybody enough money, so that they don't feel the need to steal. Sounds darn... Democratic to me. In fact it smells quite a lot like... Communism!

2. The difference is...
that they seem to think the wealthy deserve more money yet can't grasp the fact it's their money they want to give away to the wealthy, while at the same time bitchin' about the government taking all their money in taxe, so there should be more tax cuts.

To them, money grows on trees or can be pulled from behind someone's ear to give to the already wealthy scum.

There are more than a few short circuits in their brains.

5. No, their solution seems to be to convert everyone to Repugs, then nothing
would be illegal.

People remaining Dems (like Kerry) would never be able to do anything that was legal, by virtue of their political affiliation.

10. I think that Freeper Post ought to go into a DU Hall of Shame
If only we gave the politicians more money, they'd stop prostituting themselves.

I wonder how that Freaker feels about Welfare or Aid to Dependent Children. Maybe he thinks we should increase payments to the poor, in the hopes they can dig themselves out of poverty....? Nah!, He probably doesn't think that.

3. What about all that money that he made from book sales?
Did anyone buy it?
Does the Average Joe write a book about his religious intolerance?
Does the Average Joe believe that a woman should stay home, and be barefoot and pregnant for her entire life?
Does the Average Joe send his kids to special schools and charge it to the government?
He ain't no Average Joe, but he is a Standard Politician taking advantage of his position.

6. And the cash for "home schooling" his kids from Penna, even though he
was living in VA at the time? Seems like it was a pretty good chunk of cash too.

If they elected honest people, that would be a better way to take care of the problem.

7. I cannot believe they found a way to add John Kerry to this idiocy
poor Teddy Kennedy - he is going to be hurt that they didn't try harder to tie this to him.

8. It wouldn't matter if they are trying to figure out how many spots
are on a Dalmation, they will find a way to make derogatory remarks about a Democrat. It seems to be an ingrained response that can be used in any discussion on any topic.

9. It's the political equivalent of
"I know you are, but what am I"?

or

"I'm rubber, you're glue. Anything you say bounces off of me and sticks to you"
