Cold, freezing, and back from Capitol Hill.

Hey everyone I just wanted to let you know that we just finished up meeting with the aides from my Senators. It turns out congress is on vacation so I didn't get a chance to meet with them one on one basis like yesterday. Any how all the Democratic aides were of course helpful and polite. Although I did meet with with Senator's Obama's aide in the common area outside the gift shop.

Anyhow I just wanted to let you know that a bunch of us went down to Hasterat's office and asked if they had any time on their hands to see. The earliest date that they said they could talk to us is about three weeks after the Parkinson World Congress so basically our team leader said forget it and we left. But every one of "our" senators aides said that they supported stem cell research, even Melissa Bean's.

I just wanted to let my friends on this forum know how much that they've inspired me to become an activist. I was scared and nervous and couldn't have done it without your support. I wanted to take this time to thank everyone at Democratic Underground for their support and friendship, and a special shout out to Skinner. I couldn't have done it without you guys.

And I just have to say it Democratic Underground Rocks.
