No link yet on CNN.

"President Bush defends deal to let a Dubai-based company run 6 major U.S. ports, saying he would veto any bill to hold up the deal."

2. Of course he would....
He arranged for Bin Laden's relatives to sneak out of the country right after 9/11....why wouldn't he allow a country with strong ties to that event, and to terrorism in general, to control the ports of American cities?

Makes perfect chimpy sense.

6. So let him veto it.

It's his funeral, after all.

Edited to add: And if he says he'll veto it but then gives in to public pressure at the last minute, that's even better! That would show the world he's full of hot air, among other things.

8. He already threatened a veto and didn't follow through.
Remember the homeland security act. They extended it by a few months. He said he would veto the extension because he wanted the whole meal deal at one time.

But when he saw he wasn't going eto get it, he went along with the program. Remember
