Think about this: Abramoff was directly linked to the 2000 recount in Florida (Greenberg Traurig - which hasn't even fully collected on their invoices for "services rendered"). The investigative cases in which he has made a plea bargain are located where?

So, you tell me which is worse:

1) Several Congressmen going on television, crying and claiming their ignorance of where funds came from as they resign under scandal

2) The vast public finally tuned into the fact that the 2000 recount/election/et al was simply a scam

DeLay's office served as "a switchboard of sorts for volunteers looking to sign up" to help oversee or protest the recounts, according to a November 28, 2000, New York Times article. As the Times reported on November 24, 2000, young Republicans "tried to rush the doors outside the office of the Miami-Dade supervisor of elections."
