Create an internal controlled conflict, flood the news with it? Seems to be the basic strategy of Bushscandalgate - just keep em coming folks....no time for any to stick, need to make room for the next one!

1. no. if it were manufactured, it would be a win-win cultural debate
such as flag burning or gay marriage. these guys don't look good having internal squabbles about security.

minds off of the Cheney blunders.

8. I think it's more that they've spent so much energy propping up their
multiple, various incompetancies - and they're running out of energy. It's all starting to fall down around them.

7. Kinda like trying to build a dam with rising waves of water.
Seems to me, all this stuff has to be eating away at the banks of his support.

If one atrocity or screw-up doesn't get people's attention, the next one will, or the after that.

Only those (like myself) who become emotionally attached to specific scandals -- eg, Plamegate, Scootergate, Rovergate, Cheneygate -- tend to temporarily lose patience (and hope) when they get knocked off the frontpage by this Administration's other PR catastrophies.

Anyway, I know how you feel. :toast:

12. was just pondering, as Wolfie was heating up his Situation Room
with non stop Port stuff. The MSM appear to have the attention span of children (sorry to insult children, actually).
