Holy smokes Lou Dobbs!
I had the honor of watching this guys show today, and man oh man it was one of the most hard cutting journalistic piece sI have seen in awhile! This guy just TRASHEd the Bush admin up and down the isle all day on port security and global warming. Great stuff.

Anyone know if this repeats?

1. I think late at night, but don't be fooled by Lou. He is comes across at
times as a racist to me when it comes to brown people.

9. There is a big difference between illegal (and that's what it is)...
immigration and port operatons and global warming.

I, on the other hand, am in favor of safe ports, a clean environment, AND affordable, reliable labor.

2. Lou Dobbs
has been great on this issue. I think his show repeats late at night. He will no doubt continue with the topic Wednesday. And the CNN staff is supporting him, because they know the administration and their friend want to shut him up.

I like that he keeps stressing that Bush was not even aware of the sale until the opposition to it started making noise.

4. He's also great on job outsourcing, and he was great on
companies moving their HQs to Cayman Islands and other tax havens.

He's not THAT much of an enemy. Or perhaps from another perspective, we can't afford to condemn and discount people totally when they can be of use and assistance to us on some issues. That's Lou Dobbs. I value greatly that he can and does speak out on some issues. His audience is probably from the higher economic spectrum, and when he discusses the danger and damage of our jobs going overseas, that's a real benefit to us.

3. He's STILL The Enemy
Don't be fooled by one day's issue. He's still a rich, money loving repub, and would still vote for King Shrub another 10 times if he could.

7. Didn't Lou say he had changed from repub to independent?
I haven't heard him say anything nice about Bush is years, so I don't think
he would vote for shrub 10 times.

8. Oh no, I don't think he would vote for bush for dog-catcher
An old fashioned republican - in a heart beat - but he genuinely hates this batch of miscreants. Lou isn't that bad of a guy, he's not OUR guy but his head isn't totally up his butt either. Unlike many here I don't think he's motivated by racism but rather by populism which is of course easily confused. I have seen him crack on poor security on the Canadian border and the northeastern shoreline too, and the whole port security issue has been big with him for a while now.

5. What's Dobbs problem?
He helped put Bush in power, and has helped Bush stay. This is just more of the same.

Dobbs has no right to be outraged at this point.

6. Don't you feel sorry for guys like him? I'm not divided by the decisions
made by this Republican Baron administration. I'm always consistent in my disdain and distrust.

But, POOOOOOOR Lou - and others like him, including poor Kurt. They are conflicted beyond imagination.

I feel so sorry for them.

11. I don't see any evidence of Dobbs being conflicted - he can't stand them
I think he's made that ABUNDANTLY clear. I guess you don't watch Dobbs?

He's tougher on Bush than Oberman or even TDS fake news and has been for a long time now.

12. I agree. Lou has been hot on jobs loss and outsourcing for a long time
and hasn't been afraid to call administration marshmallowheads on their fluff.

13. Those issues and the port issue is as far as it goes. He does defend
the American economy. IMO I never see him giving an inch to Democrats. Ever. He is always challenging. He is a Republican in every other way.
