the ports issue is a way for repugs in congress to distance themselves
from the little dictator before the midterm elections. i don't think that kkkarl had to burn too much midnight oil to come up with this one either- it's the advantage you have when your a presidunce who doesn't have to worry about facing the voters again himself.

2. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth
They can still suffer the fallout. Besides, Karl would not do anything to make Bush look bad, that's not what he's paid for.

Lotsa funny business going on with that Carlyle Group and Bush Sr. If it stinks in beantown, there's probably a reason!

4. You Got It

The criminals in our precious White House are playing the American people like a piano. If Bush backs down he will give the perception that he is willing to compromise. Of course he is not willing to compromise.
The Saudis own him.

Not one repug can point to one thing Michael Moore lied about regarding the Saudis or anything else related to the Commander and Creep.

How else could a pro-Al Queda sit directly behind Laura Bush during the Stink of the Union speech.

5. Right, now they are all courageous, independent thinkers,
not afraid to buck the party line to protect the interests of their constituents.

Republican politicians, basically, are slime.

6. That is certainly one possibility
Good Democratic strategy would be to look for ways to drive the wedge. For example, McCain should be isolated if possible. Now is a good time to call into question the Republicans' judgment on how to combat terror. Tie it to negligence in dealing with both pre and post 9-11 threat, the Iraq diversion, the Wahabi cancer. Republicans in Congress have failed to conduct oversight and force the executive to justify its policies.

7. Yeah, Karl is just too smart for the rest of us.
We should give up now.

Golly, all the defeatist posts tonight. Can't imagine where they came from.
