i just went in again to look at that thread in GD where the idiot posted that claimed he (or she) voted twice for bush because of abortion. the posts have all become authored by "name removed".

we should change that to "brain removed". anyone that votes once for bush, let alone twice, and then brags about it is pure brainless trash.

Yes, I was dumb-found to see his post voting for bush twice and brag about it. He said, because of "Abortion" issue. I didn't buy into any of his BS he was spilling.

11. Some Of Them Actually Are Reaching Out

I saw a thread from last night...a very interesting exchange between a Freeper who came out of hiding and a few folks here on DU. It was enlightening as the DU'ers were firm but polite and the Freeper wasn't spewing non-stop talking points.

Recent events have shaken the treehouse there. For the economic and now security and civil libertarians on the right, this regime has pushed them to their limits. It was all good when there was enough common fear/hate that bonded them together, but now boooosh has determined he's a law unto himself and doesn't need anyone. He'll do what he damn pleases and this is not sitting well with the right wing. Good.

I welcome Freepers and others who want to openly and objectively discuss what's going on. I'll bet there's a lot of common ground we ignore in our long-seated resentments. Yes, some are gonna be kool-aided to the end, but there's that 10 or 20 or maybe 30 percent that seem to be having a strong case of buyer's remorse right now. If we play nice, maybe most will do us a big favor and stay home in November...or maybe a precious few will actually do the right thing and help us rid the Repugnican vermin from the House and Senate an bring back accountability.

There's only so much hypocrisy a sane person can put up with.
